We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated coordinator to join our global science publishing team.

The role involves acting as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders, authors, editors, and reviewers for journal and manuscript matters across pre-submission to editorial acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders, authors, editors, and reviewers for journal and manuscript matters across pre-submission to editorial acceptance.
  • Develop, maintain, and adjust guidelines, policies, and documentation for internal and external use of set-up and after-go-live maintenance matters.
  • Participate and contribute to projects that will make a difference to the publishing service.
  • Monitor the peer-review process to ensure the delivery of high-quality service.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree level qualification.
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to quickly understand different processes and adapt to new systems and their dependencies.
  • Display strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
  • Familiarity with academic publishing, including peer-review scientific needs.
