Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Game Design and Animation Program Lead to oversee the development of our Bachelor of Design program. The ideal candidate will have strong academic and professional expertise in game development, animation, and interactive media, with demonstrated proficiency in both visual storytelling and technical skills including programming.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage curriculum delivery, planning, and quality assurance
  • Create and teach core courses in game design, animation, and interactive programming
  • Mentor students in game development projects and industry-linked internships
  • Incorporate programming modules (game logic, interactivity, AI) into course content
  • Leverage collaborations with industry and support faculty development
  • Organize game jams, showcases, and co-curricular industry events

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience with game engines and tools: Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender
  • Understanding of animation workflows, storytelling, and level design
  • Strong knowledge of gameplay mechanics, UI/UX for games, and interactive media
  • Able to lead teams, coordinate across departments, and manage academic operations

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant academic or industry experience
  • Strong portfolio of game/interactive projects and/or published work
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
