Technical Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement distributed, real-time systems that meet the needs of key stakeholders
- Optimize system operations through automation and tooling
- Build foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems
- Collaborate with development and quant teams to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Monitor system capacity and performance, identifying potential bottlenecks and sources of instability
- Review and provide feedback on automation code developed by peers
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Participate in design reviews and evaluate technologies and automation strategies
Requirements:
- Demonstrated work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role
- Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell, ability to comprehend C# and develop basic applications
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible)
- Experience with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong sense of ownership
- Commitment to highest ethical standards
