Senior Data Engineer Position

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data & AI team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Work with Lakehouses, Dataflows, Data Warehouses, and Notebooks within Fabric.
  • Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes leveraging OneLake, Delta tables, and Spark engines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Integrate various data sources (structured and unstructured) and ensure data quality, governance, and security.
  • Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of data solutions within Fabric and Azure.
  • Work closely with Power BI teams for semantic modeling and real-time dashboards.
  • Stay updated with the latest features in Microsoft Fabric and adopt best practices.
Required Skills:
  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Pipelines).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Data Services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Gen2.
  • Experience with Power BI, especially in integrating Fabric datasets.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and DevOps for data solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer or Fabric-specific certifications.
  • Experience working in agile delivery models and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Delta Lake, or other cloud-native analytics platforms is a plus.
