Job Title: Chief Data ArchitectWe are seeking a skilled Chief Data Architect to lead our data engineering team. As a key member of the organization, you will work closely with clients and team members to understand their requirements and develop architectures that meet their needs.The ideal candidate will have experience in leading teams, providing technical leadership and guidance, and developing data pipelines for new sources. You will also be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing effective solution designs, and ensuring regular communication with key stakeholders.Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines to bring in various data from multiple sources within the organization and external sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to source data and make it available for downstream consumption.
  • Work with the team to provide an effective solution design to meet business needs.
  • Ensure regular communication with key stakeholders, understand any key concerns, and escalate dependencies and challenges.
  • Manage timelines, value of initiative, quality, and budget.
  • Coordinate communications plan for initiative execution and delivery, both internal and external.
  • Finalize handover of initiative to business-as-usual processes and conduct post-implementation review.
Requirements:
  • Team player with excellent problem analysis skills.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks platform, at least one Cloud Infra provider (Azure/AWS), and Apache Spark.
  • Knowledge of NOSQL databases, Big data ETL processing tools, Data modelling, and Data mapping.
  • Experience with Hive and Hadoop file formats, relational databases, NoSQL/document databases, flat files, CI CD tools, DevOps practices, and Git version control.
  • Ability to debug, fine tune, and optimize large scale data processing jobs.
