Job Role:

The Electrical Project Manager's key responsibilities include reviewing engineering design plans, conducting complex calculations, designing and implementing electrical systems and their components, collaborating with other engineers, and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be able to develop reliable, quality electrical systems.

  • Safety Protocols: Prioritizing safety above all when performing duties.
  • Service Delivery: Demonstrating high service delivery levels to ensure customer satisfaction; handling new designs and prioritization according to customer needs.
  • Decision Making and Problem Solving: Taking action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; using reason even in emotionally charged situations; reviewing facts and weighing options.
  • Integrity: Being tactful, maintaining confidences, and fostering an ethical work environment; handling situations honestly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing projects in OTIF electrical drawings and site execution in line with IEC and safety standards.
  • Visiting sites if required and completing project layout analysis and design approval from customers.
  • Finalizing field component mounting schemes with the help of mechanical design teams.
  • Routing cables in cable trays neatly to meet wiring standards.
  • Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining electrical requirements for given projects.
  • Liaising with other engineers and clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction.
  • Monitoring and managing all assigned electrical projects installation on site.
  • Selecting hardware according to engineering calculations.
  • Generating BOM and IO list reports as per application requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Diploma or ITI certification with 5 years/3-4 years of experience in design, projects, NPD, or SPM projects.
  • Technical school attendance is beneficial.
  • Able to understand and work from schematics.
  • Familiarity with electrical theory and terminology required.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with peers and management.
  • Will to work some overtime if business needs arise.
