Job Title: Head IP
We are seeking a seasoned Intellectual Property expert to join our team as a Head of IP. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of IP strategies across various business clusters.
Key Responsibilities:
- To review NPD designs and identify potential areas of IP legal risk, plan IP checks, and carry out risk mitigation measures to strengthen the culture of technology and NPD through IP.
- To develop search strategies and conduct analysis for Freedom to Operate (FTO), State of Art (SOA), invalidation, opposition, and litigation purposes.
- To perform advanced technology and analysis, including competitive intelligence analysis, design IP protection of transportation design and engineering across business clusters.
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess a Graduate/PG/PhD qualification in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/Automotive/Material Science) with WON, WIPO DL101, DFSS, Qualified Patent Agent Exam being an advantage.
Additionally, the candidate should have at least 18 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in patent law, competitor portfolio analysis, and data analytics.
