We are a private funder dedicated to enhancing educational outcomes for girls in lower-income countries. Our focus is on addressing the disadvantage they face, as educated girls prioritize educating their children.

Private funding becomes crucial as wealthy nations reduce aid funding. We are one of the largest private funders in the international education space, committed to supporting quality education.

Our Program Officer will play a key role in shaping our Primary Foundational Learning strategy in India, identifying grantees, and overseeing grant portfolios.

The ideal candidate has expertise in technical learning, networks in India, or experience in philanthropy. Experience in gender or girl rights would be beneficial.

• Develop an India-specific Primary Foundational Learning strategy, driving systems change.
• Administer and support existing grants, reviewing proposals and providing feedback.
• Identify high-impact opportunities for advancing goals, shaping strategy implementation.
• Expand the grant portfolio by finding new grantees aligned with our strategy, prioritizing local organizations led by local leaders.
• Review grant proposals, assessing programs, metrics, budgets, and leadership capabilities.

While we're flexible on geographic location, candidates based in India will have an easier time staying current in their networks and supporting grant portfolios without extensive travel.
