Role Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cloud Security Specialist to join our team in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services.
This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to 1 year of experience in cybersecurity or cloud technologies.
As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and monitoring of security measures for cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and analyze security events across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Implement cloud security best practices and policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential cloud security vulnerabilities.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.
- Assist in compliance audits and documentation (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.).
- Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, and a basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Additionally, knowledge of networking, firewalls, and basic security concepts is required, as well as familiarity with security tools like SIEM, vulnerability scanners, etc. (preferred).
