Job Title: Financial Strategist

We're seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Financial Strategist. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies that optimize our financial position.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian direct tax laws and regulatory frameworks, as well as proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and handling tax audits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement direct tax strategies to minimize risks and maximize returns
  • Research and interpret relevant tax laws and regulations to ensure full compliance
  • Prepare and review direct tax returns, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission
  • Manage tax audits and coordinate responses and documentation for tax authorities
  • Advise internal teams on tax implications of business decisions and transactions
  • Monitor changes in direct tax laws and assess their business impact
  • Identify opportunities to reduce tax liabilities while minimizing risks
  • Provide guidance and training to finance and business teams on direct tax matters

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian direct tax laws and regulatory frameworks
  • Proven experience in tax planning, compliance, and handling tax audits
  • Strong research and analytical skills to interpret complex tax legislation
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in mentoring or guiding junior finance professionals
