Geospatial data specialists play a vital role in supporting informed decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a GIS Data Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large datasets, ensuring accuracy and quality of spatial data, and conducting spatial analysis and mapping to aid various projects and initiatives.

  • Data Collection and Management: Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources. A working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on Esri platform is required.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data
  • ETL operations: ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server. Internally develop or collaborate with third-party vendors to deploy solutions based on business requirements.
  • GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, analysts, and external partners, to comprehend data requirements.
  • Create training materials and conduct trainings to customers as required.
  • Support trade shows and Esri conferences as required.
  • Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends: Engage in continuous professional development to uphold expertise in GIS technology, data analysis, and AI.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Mastery of image processing techniques and experience with Image Analyst Extension.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to business partners, peers, and various levels of management.
Non-Negotiable Skills

The following skills are mandatory:

  • Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.
