Job Title: Academic Leader in Physiotherapy

We are seeking an exceptional academic leader to join our team as a Professor of Physiotherapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service within the department of Physiotherapy.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished academic to take on a leadership role in teaching and research.
  • The Professor will be integral in developing and delivering educational content, conducting high-impact research, and providing service to the department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct students in the area of Physiotherapy at various academic levels, fostering a supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and academic excellence.
  • Create and maintain course materials and curriculum, staying up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Evaluate student assignments and performance, providing constructive feedback to promote growth and development.
Research Focus:
  • Conduct research in Physiotherapy, publishing findings in reputable academic journals and presenting at international conferences.
  • Secure external funding to support research activities, collaborating with colleagues and industry partners to drive innovation.
Mentorship and Service:
  • Provide academic and career mentorship to students, guiding them towards successful careers in Physiotherapy.
  • Oversee student projects and research efforts, offering guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Engage in departmental and university service, participating in committees and initiatives that promote excellence and collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in research and academic practice.
  • Demonstrable ability or potential for research and teaching excellence, with a track record of publications and presentations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse groups and stakeholders.
