Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant Position

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant to support our enterprise application environment with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate must have a deep knowledge of AX modules and be proficient in SQL development.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Understand and support all core Dynamics AX modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects
  • Work independently to deep dive into concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer to debug existing AX customizations trace and understand business logic in X++ and SQL extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration perform pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality create documentation for SQL processes data mappings and validation steps
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or later
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization experience with data migration transformation and validation ability to work in a fast-paced minimal-supervision environment proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing scripts solid understanding of stored procedures triggers and functions knowledge of data conversion best practices strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills excellent communication and collaboration abilities familiarity with other database systems e.g. SQL Server Oracle is a plus
