Cloud Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.

  • This includes managing Azure resources, Office 365 services, and related tools to support the organization's cloud infrastructure needs.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for cloud automation and relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Proven experience with Azure cloud services and Office 365 administration is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
  • Manage Azure resources, Office 365 services, and related tools to support the organization's cloud infrastructure needs.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) for automated cloud and Office 365 administration tasks.
  • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical cloud services.
  • Provide guidance and training to other IT staff on cloud administration best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide support for Office 365 services across the organization.
  • Implement security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud services and Office 365 administration.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting for cloud automation.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).
