About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Freelance Shopify Developer. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of hands-on experience in custom theme and app development for Shopify.

This project-based role offers the opportunity to work on exciting e-commerce builds that require deep technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and customizing Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Building custom functionalities and features tailored to project requirements.
  • Integrating third-party applications and APIs with Shopify.
  • Optimizing store performance for speed, mobile, and SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving Shopify-related issues.
  • Collaborating with design/marketing teams to ensure a seamless front-end experience.
  • Ensuring code quality, security, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Shopify development (freelance or agency).
  • Strong command of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience in Shopify App Development (private/public apps).
  • Familiarity with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL).
  • Hands-on experience with custom checkout flows, B2B features, and app integrations.
  • Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver on deadlines.
