Senior Reliability Engineer - DevOps Expert

Description:


We are seeking a seasoned Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team as a DevOps expert. This is a pivotal role that requires a strong foundation in software development, operations, and reliability engineering.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate and prioritize technical issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime and maximize system availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement scalable solutions, leveraging expertise in automation, containerization, and cloud services.
  • Develop and maintain robust monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Promote best practices, automate repetitive tasks, and contribute to the development of tools and processes to enhance overall team efficiency.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience with SDLC methodologies, preferably Agile, and a deep understanding of software development principles.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and proficiency in configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Familiarity with containerization concepts, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS ECS/EKS.
  • Experience managing 3-tier application stacks and working with build tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases, F5 load balancing concepts, and basic networking fundamentals.
