Job Title: Senior Service Reliability EngineerAbout the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Service Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our services.

You will work closely with application developers and solution architects to design, develop, and implement scripts, software, and tools that improve system reliability in production.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive service performance metrics, identify and mitigate potential issues, and implement monitoring solutions to ensure overall system health and availability.

As a technical owner, you will ensure delivery of SRE initiatives and perform deliverable reviews to coach teams in area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with development teams to design and develop reliable systems
  • Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and availability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive service performance metrics
  • Identify and mitigate potential issues to prevent downtime
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including runbooks and playbooks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of software development and deployment practices
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and containerization
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
