About This Role

As a senior manager in our product development team, you will play a key leadership role in driving the delivery of high-quality products and features from concept to end-of-life management. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of product roadmaps, prioritizing feature requests and ensuring seamless execution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive quality and excellence in product releases, leveraging expertise in agile engineering practices
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, promoting growth and development within the team
  • Communicate effectively with partners to ensure clear goals and aligned vision, driving progress and resolving issues
  • Manage the progress of work, addressing production issues during sprints, and maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in information systems
  • Proven track record of people management, leading matrixed teams, and passion for mentorship, culture, and talent development
  • Thorough understanding of modern web application development, data integration, and enterprise data fabric concepts, methodologies, and technologies
  • Prior hands-on experience with full-stack development, cloud services (AWS preferred), and cloud-native tools and design patterns
  • Demonstrated experience in navigating matrix organizations and leading change
  • Define success metrics for developer productivity, analyzing performance against established KPIs on a monthly/quarterly basis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong influencing skills, ability to balance priorities, and influence stakeholders
  • Prior experience in vendor management, biotechnology, or pharma industry
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified DevOps Engineer, or Certified Agile Leader certification
