Software Development Engineer

About the Role:

This position plays a crucial role in developing software solutions that drive business growth and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development principles and be able to design, develop, and deploy scalable software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software requirements and develop solutions.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, test methods, and Lightning web components to meet business requirements.
  • Debug existing code and improve legacy unit tests.
  • Participate in creating documentation to ensure no component or process is a closed system.
  • Optimize and improve existing Salesforce implementations to maximize benefits.
  • Work with urgency and ownership to achieve company success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Salesforce.com products.
  • Strong desire to maximize native Salesforce functions and adopt scalability as a core design principle.
  • Experience in Service cloud implementation and object-based model.
  • Understanding of governor limits in Salesforce and advanced admin features.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to diverse lines of business using Salesforce.
  • Able to clearly articulate pros and cons of solution approaches.
  • Unafraid to offer suggestions for improvement.
