Job Title: Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop plumbing and firefighting systems design from conceptualization to construction.
  • Create detailed tender drawings for plumbing and fire suppression systems, including water, waste, rainwater, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, such as calculated notes and shop drawings, for submission and resubmission.
  • Select materials, source quotations, and obtain technical documents from suppliers, and take off bill of quantities for fire fighting and plumbing systems.
  • Determine design specifications, materials, equipment, estimated costs, and construction timelines. Collaborate with MEP consultants to define functional requirements and spatial needs.
  • Closely coordinate with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to ensure project success.
  • Supervise workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents, plan project layouts, and prepare scale drawings.
  • Work with supervisors to develop technical reports and implement site installations. Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare project schedules, designs, and constructions, as well as progress, daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Create material lists and costing for bidding purposes.
