Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Financial Specialist. This role will involve performing daily financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable processing, invoice verification, and expense management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with experience in finance and accounting preferably in a BPM/SSC environment. They will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, and have experience with accounting software such as E1, QuickBooks, or SAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Activities: Perform daily financial tasks, including accounts payable and receivable processing, invoice verification, and expense management.
  • Month-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Compliance: Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a BPM/SSC environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role.
