To excel in this role, you'll require:

  • A degree in English, Media/Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least one year's experience in sports writing, news content, or similar roles.
  • Exceptional command of the English language, enabling you to craft compelling articles that captivate readers.
  • The ability to create well-researched pieces that explore emerging trends, deliver insightful features, and capture breaking news.
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly WordPress, is a valuable asset.

As a Sports Journalist at our organization:

  • You'll produce six high-quality articles daily, maintaining our rigorous standards.
  • Working six days a week, you'll collaborate with our editorial team to ensure timely, relevant content for our US audience.
  • Each article will be thoroughly researched, factually accurate, and designed to hook readers from the start.
  • You'll work closely with our content team to develop fresh ideas and maintain the highest level of quality.
  • We encourage you to delve into what drives our audience's passion for the game, creating content that resonates with their interests.
  • Timeliness is crucial, so you'll prioritize breaking news and keep our fans informed about the latest updates.
