Shopify Front End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled front-end developer with expertise in Shopify and JavaScript to assume this critical role.

About the Position:
  • Designing and customizing Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, liquid, and meta fields is an essential responsibility of this position.
  • Evaluating the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimizing them for maximum speed and scalability is crucial.
  • Developing reusable code and libraries for future use will be expected from the successful candidate.
  • Collaboration with the development team to ensure timely project completion is mandatory.
  • Remaining up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and applying them to development is vital.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience with Shopify is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of DOM manipulation is required.
  • Expertise in CSS is a must.
  • Familiarity with Git is essential.
  • The liquid framework is a must-have skill.
  • Asynchronous JavaScript knowledge and experience are required.
  • Knowledge of GraphQL is desired.
  • React JS experience is beneficial.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment are essential.
  • Familiarity with Git and Github is required.

This is a full-time remote opportunity requiring a commitment to work Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST.
