Shopify E-commerce Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce websites for our clients. Your role will involve working closely with our design and development teams to create seamless and visually appealing online stores.

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites.
  • Extend theme's functionality for custom cart, custom filters or similar requirements.
  • Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand the key problem and implement the solution with the right approach.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte.
  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript.
  • Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or tailwind / MUI).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document and report issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Shopify developer or relevant skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Shopify development is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous.
  • Portfolio of past projects demonstrating the required skills and experience.
