Digital Forensics Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Digital Forensics Specialist to conduct forensic analysis and investigations, analyze malware, and compile evidence related to cybersecurity incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough digital forensic examinations across various environments, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
  • Utilize industry-leading forensic tools, such as Velociraptor, to collect, preserve, and analyze evidence.
  • Perform endpoint, memory, and disk forensics to identify attacker actions, persistence, and lateral movement.
  • Develop targeted VQL queries for hunts and investigations using Velociraptor.
  • Correlate forensic findings with threat intelligence, incident response, and security operations center (SOC) alerts.
  • Document findings with clear timelines and technical evidence suitable for reporting and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in digital forensics and incident response.
  • Proficiency in conducting forensic analysis, malware analysis, and evidence compilation.
  • Experience with Velociraptor and other industry-leading forensic tools.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, risk management, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
