Job Overview - VoIP Professional

We are seeking a seasoned VoIP expert to spearhead our voice communications platform.

You will design, build, and manage scalable VoIP infrastructures, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of VoIP systems using Asterisk or FreeSWITCH.
  • Implement SIP routing and load balancing using Kamailio or OpenSIPS.
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of VoIP infrastructure.
  • Work with MySQL or PostgreSQL for system configurations and logging.
  • Build automation and monitoring tools using Shell, Perl, or Python.
  • Troubleshoot call quality issues, latency, and jitter – ensuring crystal-clear communication.
  • Collaborate with global DevOps and Infrastructure teams for seamless integrations.
  • Drive performance optimization, security hardening, and compliance for voice platforms.

Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of hands-on experience in VoIP systems architecture and operations.
  • Deep expertise in Asterisk and/or FreeSWITCH.
  • Strong experience with Kamailio or OpenSIPS for SIP signaling.
  • Proficiency with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Advanced scripting capabilities in Shell, Perl, or Python.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven leadership in building resilient communication infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience from call centres would be advantageous.
