Senior Java Developer Job Description

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Implement REST and GraphQL APIs with high performance and reliability.
  • Build and maintain microservices architectures using design patterns and Kafka.
  • Work on serverless computing and integrate SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Fundamentals knowledge of Java, Web application development.
  • Proficient in usage of tools like Docker, Maven, Jenkins.
  • Experience in system domains like Ubuntu/Linux, troubleshooting and debugging the product.
  • Ability to design application modules using various concepts like object-oriented, multi-threading, synchronization, caching, fault tolerance, sockets, various IPCs, database interfaces etc.
  • Hands-on experience on Redis, MySQL.
  • Knowledge about streaming technologies like Kafka producer consumers and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra.
  • Strong analytical skills, debugging and troubleshooting skills, product line analysis.
  • Follower of agile methodology(Sprint planning, working on JIRA, retrospective etc).
  • Knowledge about versioning like Git and deployment processes like CICD.
  • Experience in Bigdata - Scala.
  • Good exposure on Docker and containers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Apply knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
  • Collaborate on distributed system development across cloud platforms.
  • Gather requirements and specifications to understand client requirements.
  • Estimate work requirements for project estimations.
  • Conduct unit testing using JUnit and ensure code quality.
  • Participate in full software development lifecycle and team collaboration.
