About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to oversee all in-house legal and compliance matters for our business. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents with precision and accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of applications, petitions, and responses with relevant authorities.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices as needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of case files and legal documents.
- Collaborate closely with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments to provide strategic advice to management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- LL.B. degree (LL.M. preferred but not mandatory)
- Enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India
- 3+ years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred)
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers and stakeholders
