Job Title: Senior Back-End Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to lead our back-end development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance back-end APIs and microservices.
  • Implement business logic and data processing using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
  • Optimize back-end systems for performance, reliability, and security.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in back-end development, AWS cloud services, and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to integrate back-end APIs with the front-end.
  • Contribute to front-end development as needed, using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

Problem Solving and Debugging:

  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in back-end systems and AWS infrastructure.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in back-end development.
