Data Engineer Role

The position of a data engineer is focused on the engineering and development work related to the creation of reusable data products, models and assets that provide data for broader divisional use. The incumbent will be responsible for understanding business/data requirements, formulating appropriate solution architectures, building data structures and models supporting business goals, and providing technical leadership to the group.

  • Help build a data ecosystem to support the company's manufacturing division.
  • Create sets of reusable data products to support multiple digital and analytical solutions across the division.
  • Analyze data insights to address problems in the pharma business.
  • Work with AWS cloud services and other modern cloud technologies and participate in continuous innovation.
  • Solve complex technical and business problems.
  • Gain an understanding of the manufacturing domain of a pharma company.
  • Contribute to building and establishing a data strategy for the division from the ground up.
  • Collaborate in an international team using an agile setup.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in a relevant IT role.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data modeling.
