Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated financial analyst to support our investment decisions and monitor investments made into startups and privately held US companies.

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry deep-dives on startups and private companies.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and reports for internal committees.
  • Track portfolio company performance, KPIs, and prepare monitoring dashboards.
  • Assist with due diligence (financial, operational, and market).
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA / CFA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2–5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting investment decisions by conducting thorough market research and analysis.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate financial models to inform investment strategies.
  • Creating high-quality investment memos, pitch decks, and reports to facilitate internal committee discussions.
  • Monitoring and tracking portfolio company performance, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance returns.
