Cloud Security Specialist

The primary goal of this role is to enhance cloud security governance, oversight, and adaptability to minimize the likelihood of successful attacks. Key responsibilities include reviewing and assessing domain controls, internal reviews for CSPM/SSPM/CWPP/CIEM policies, configuration baseline, compliance review, exceptions review, auto remediation, and identifying common security misconfigurations.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of related experience with a preference for Azure Cloud security, expertise in cloud security and governance tools such as CSPM, CASBs, Container Security, CWPP, and CIEM, in-depth knowledge of configuration benchmarks, and a solid understanding of cloud offerings and capabilities.

This position involves defining cloud governance policies, evaluating CASB and SaaS applications, conducting security assessments, creating and supporting configuration of CSPM tools, providing clear communication with project stakeholders, and building a positive working relationship with team members and application teams.

The selected individual will be responsible for identifying areas of risk and ensuring gaps are remediated, driving cloud security practices in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS implementations, conducting research on latest cloud security tools and best practices, and creating KPIs and KRIs to measure risk reduction and progress in cloud over time.
