
Digital Transformation Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our digital initiatives and software solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving innovation and efficiency across our operations by overseeing a team of Business Analysts and developing key digital strategies.
This role reports directly to the Vice President IT and is critical to modernizing our business processes and enhancing our service delivery.
Job Responsibilities:- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the organization's IT software applications.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap that aligns with the company's business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Analysts/PMs. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering and analysis to implementation and drive adoption in the field. Identify, evaluate, and implement new software solutions to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and data analytics.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, marketing, and finance, to understand their needs and translate them into effective digital solutions.
- Manage multiple digital projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Analyze and re-engineer existing business processes to leverage technology for automation and efficiency gains.
- Regularly report on the progress and impact of digital initiatives to the CIO and other key Executive stakeholders.
- Development and approval of a 3-year digital transformation roadmap within the first 6 months.
- On-time and on-budget delivery of key digital projects (e.g., new software implementation, mobile app launch).
- Percentage of key business processes automated and digitized.
- Reduction in average time to complete service-related tasks due to new software.
- Achievement of user adoption rates within a specified timeframe.
- Successful recruitment and retention of top talent.
- Completion of professional development goals for all team members.
- Positive scores on employee engagement and satisfaction surveys.
- Quantifiable reduction in operational costs or increased revenue from new digital processes.
- Improvement in key performance metrics
- Successful resolution of process-related bottlenecks identified through data analysis.
- Regular, well-received progress reports to the CIO and executive team.
- Positive feedback from department heads on collaboration and project outcomes.
- Timely and clear communication of project milestones and changes to all relevant teams.
- The ability to understand business needs, processes, and problems to translate them into technology solutions.
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): A deep understanding of how software is built, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Expertise in methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Lean to manage projects efficiently and adapt to changing requirements.
- Knowledge of how to connect different software systems and platforms to create a unified digital ecosystem.
- The ability to plan, implement, and manage organizational change, helping employees adapt to new technologies and processes.
- The skills to mentor, motivate, and guide a team of Business Analysts.
- The ability to build strong relationships with executives, department heads, and other key players to gain buy-in and support for digital projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- The ability to identify complex problems and propose innovative, technology-driven solutions.
- Understanding of budgets, return on investment (ROI), and how technology initiatives impact the company's bottom line.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong understanding of the industry landscape and best practices in IT management.
- Demonstrated track record of successful IT strategy development and implementation.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a technology or business-related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience in successfully managing and delivering digital transformation projects.
- Experience leading a team of Business Analysts is required.
