UK Finance Manager for Innovative Health and Telecoms Ventures

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to join our team at Protein World, a dynamic group of companies empowering the Indian middle class through innovative health products, global job placements, and residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) for UK and international operations
    • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and international financial regulations
    • Manage UK payroll, VAT, and tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
    • Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Develop and track budgets for the group's UK and international businesses
    • Create and present financial forecasts to assist in strategic planning
    • Build financial models to support new business initiatives and growth plans
  • Audit and Compliance:
    • Lead internal and external audits for UK and international operations
    • Maintain accurate financial records in line with audit and regulatory standards
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the CEO and teams across health, telecoms, recruitment, and construction to align financial goals with business objectives
    • Collaborate with UK-based accountants, auditors, and advisors
    • Partner with Indian teams to ensure smooth financial operations and data integration

About You:

  • Skills and Qualifications:
    • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
    • 5+ years of experience in financial management, with expertise in UK accounting standards and tax regulations
    • Hands-on experience in payroll, VAT, and tax compliance for UK companies
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create financial models
