Quality Assurance Automation Lead Job Description

We're seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the QA automation strategy, designing and evolving automation frameworks, mentoring QA engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with release goals.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, strong background in building and scaling automation frameworks, advanced proficiency in Playwright, hands-on experience with Appium, Postman, Locust, JMeter, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Scalable Test Architecture: Design and implement automated tests to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Lead QA Automation Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive QA automation plan.
  • Mentor and Guide QA Engineers: Provide guidance and support to QA engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development, product management, and other teams to ensure alignment on testing efforts and release goals.
  • Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the application's functionality and identify areas that require additional testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Python: Strong programming skills and experience with Python are required.

  • CI/CD Integration: Experience with integrating automation into Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
