Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Costing Specialist to oversee all activities related to panel costing in the automation sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Siemens and other automation products, including PLCs, Drives, AC & DC Drives, CNC systems, DCS, PCS, electrical panels, and instrumentation panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all activities related to panel costing, ensuring accurate and timely final costing.
  2. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Siemens products, automation systems (PLC, Drives, CNC, DCS, PCS), electrical and instrumentation panels.
  3. Take ownership of costing tasks and deliverables while leading a team of engineers.
  4. Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs.
  5. Provide regular status reports to management regarding costing, progress, and potential issues.
  6. Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in automation, electrical panels, and switchgear.
  7. Ensure precise and competitive panel costing across various sectors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Siemens automation products and systems.
  • Proficiency in panel costing and project costing.
  • Experience with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle technical discussions and negotiations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Candidates should be proactive, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Prior experience in panel and automation product costing is highly preferred. Hands-on MS Excel experience is required. Experience with SIEPAN or SIECOST software is a plus.
