Key Role: Frontend Architect

We are seeking a skilled frontend architect to play a pivotal role in designing and developing the frontend architecture of our SaaS platform. This individual will be responsible for crafting a fast, lightweight, and scalable UI that enhances user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement highly efficient, scalable, and maintainable components ensuring a smooth user experience across devices.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize performance to ensure the platform is lightweight and responsive under high traffic conditions.
  • Write clean, modular, and reusable code adhering to best practices in frontend development.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that delight users.
  • Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and trends bringing innovative ideas to the team to continuously improve the product and development processes.
  • Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and bottlenecks in the platform.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers sharing expertise to raise the technical bar within the team.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with a focus on React.
  • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Proven track record of building high-performance, scalable web applications.
  • Experience with component-based architecture and state management libraries e.g. Redux, Context API.
  • Strong understanding of browser performance optimizations and best practices.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
  • Proficiency in version control (GIT) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar for writing and maintaining unit tests.
  • Strong sense of UI/UX design with an eye for creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Micro-Frontend Architecture.
  • Prior experience working with GraphQL.
  • Understanding of WebSockets and real-time data streaming.
  • Exposure to design systems and reusable component libraries.

Soft Skills:

  • Leadership and ownership demonstrated ability to take ownership of features or projects and drive them from concept to delivery.
  • Collaboration strong communication skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with designers backend developers and product teams.
  • Adaptability ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment where priorities shift regularly.
  • Mentorship willingness to mentor junior developers and help elevate the overall team's skill set.
