Job Opportunity for Civil Engineer

We seek an experienced Civil Engineer to work on railway infrastructure projects.

  • Main Responsibilities:

    • To develop detailed designs and calculations for rail projects.
    • Undertake concept design, feasibility studies, and detailed design as needed.
    • Lead technicians and BIM modellers in designing level crossings, cable management systems, lineside structures, and associated deliverables.
    • Manage the integration of CSR systems with other rail disciplines.
    • Deliver high-quality designs with minimal rework, monitoring project progress and budget.
    • Possess extensive knowledge in Network Rail infrastructure and procedures/standards.

  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
    • 4+ years' experience in rail infrastructure.
    • Current competencies with relevant Rail Authorities (e.g. VLine, Network Rail etc).
    • Able to build strong working relationships.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
    • Detailed understanding of CSR systems and their role in rail operations.

Mandatory Skills: Station Platform Designs, Level Crossings, CSR Systems, Ancillary Civils, UTX, ULX.

Desirable Skills: Software experience in SAM, TEDDS, Staad Pro, etc, Retaining Walls designs, UTX/URX.
