Key Responsibilities:
  • Automated Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using modern testing frameworks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow other QA Engineers.
  • Manual Testing: Perform manual and exploratory testing for web applications.
  • Test Case Development: Review/Create and execute detailed test cases and scenarios.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Gaps Identification: Identify product/development gaps and escalate to respective teams.
  • UI/API Testing: Conduct both UI and API testing.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance: Participate in CI/CD pipeline maintenance and improvement.
  • Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation.
  • Bug Reporting: Report and track bugs using JIRA.
Required Skills:
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience with Playwright or similar modern testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium).
  • Programming Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • API Testing: Experience with REST API testing.
  • Version Control: Git.
  • CI/CD: Experience with Github/Gitlab/Jenkins.
  • Test Reporting: Knowledge of Allure reporting or similar.
  • Database: Basic understanding of MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience managing and mentoring a team of QA engineers.
  • Startup Experience: Experience working at a startup.
  • Quality Standards: High standards for quality and ownership.
  • Manual Testing Skills: Strong manual testing skills and QA fundamentals.
  • Test Case Management: Experience in maintaining and creating Manual Testcases.
  • Test Case Execution: Experience creating and executing test cases.
  • QA Best Practices: Knowledge of quality assurance best practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
