Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global commodity strategy for electrical and electronics components.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and supply chain optimization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with commodity price fluctuations and supply chain disruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of commodity strategy and plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (EE or E&C) with 10+ years of experience in sourcing electrical and electronic components.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful commodity strategies that drive cost savings and supply chain optimization.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in sourcing electrical and electronic components, including active components and semiconductors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with global suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights to inform commodity strategy and plans.
