Experienced Testing Specialist sought for comprehensive QA role.

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and API applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Perform thorough manual testing to identify defects and validate application functionality meets requirements.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured.
  • Implement robust API automation testing using Rest Assured to validate RESTful web services.
  • Utilize BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and Cucumber for collaborative test automation.
  • Work with TestNG for efficient test execution and reporting.
  • Manage dependencies and build automation frameworks using Maven.
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to enhance software quality.
  • Analyze test results, track defects, and report findings to ensure timely resolution.
  • Enhance existing automation frameworks and participate in Agile development processes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient programming language: Java
  • Automation tools: Selenium, Rest Assured
  • API Automation Testing: Strong experience in testing REST APIs
  • BDD Frameworks: Cucumber
  • Test Frameworks: TestNG
  • Build Tools: Maven
  • Testing Methodologies: Manual & Automation testing best practices
  • Version Control: Git (preferred)
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
