Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Quality Assurance Tester to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Develop, maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
  • Validate bug fixes, track issues in the issue tracking system, and ensure they are resolved.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies to align testing with delivery timelines.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) with clients and stakeholders.

Evaluation Metrics (KPIs):

  • Defect Detection Rate: ≥ 95% of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect Leakage: ≤ 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test Coverage: ≥ 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug Closure Rate: ≥ 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.

Required Skills:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for software as a service (SaaS) or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with issue tracking tools.
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience testing platform management software (AMS), learning management systems (LMS), e-commerce, or membership platforms.
  • Familiarity with application programming interface (API) testing tools (basic validation).
  • Exposure to WordPress-based and React/Next.js-based platforms.
  • Understanding of accessibility and performance testing fundamentals.
