Enterprise Solutions Architect Role

This is a senior-level position responsible for leading the analysis and design of SAP solutions for IT projects.

  • Deliver SAP solutions for IT projects, collaborating with stakeholders to manage demand and solution delivery to time, quality, and efficiency.
  • Provide expert guidance and technical support to client IT teams, ensuring SAP standards and best practices are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand complex business requirements and identify SAP impacts and required system changes to drive business improvement.
  • Document system processes through diagramming and documentation.
  • Configure SAP in the required functional area, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications to explain the required system changes with the necessary detail for an ABAP programmer to develop from.
  • Functionally test ABAP changes or configuration changes, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver SAP changes, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Implement system changes to production, ensuring smooth deployment and minimal disruption.
  • Provide warranty support of changes, addressing any issues that may arise.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in SAP functional implementation, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: ERP Core, CRM, Retail & Commerce, Data & Analytics, Cross-Functional & Governance, and Human Capital Management.
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC, SAP HANA, SAP CRM, SAP CAR, Vistex, F&R, BW, Business Objects, GRC, Fiori, and HCM.

Desirable Skills:

  • A curious and analytical mindset, with the ability to understand how current SAP configurations work.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts in clear and concise business language.
  • Ownership and accountability, with the ability to drive and deliver changes to production, or investigate defects to resolution.
