Senior Playwright Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned test automation specialist to join our team and take on key responsibilities in designing, maintaining, and implementing robust end-to-end tests using Playwright.

This is a senior-level role that requires extensive experience in test automation and expertise in working with complex web and mobile applications in the e-commerce space. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make a significant impact in our projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Designing and maintaining robust end-to-end tests using Playwright
    • Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
    • Collaborating with developers, product owners, and QA engineers
    • Ensuring comprehensive coverage across browsers, devices, and edge cases
    • Raising the overall test maturity of our projects
    • Effectively planning and estimating test creation and execution schedules for all products
    • Reporting bugs and errors to development teams and owning end-to-end delivery of tasks
    • Writing complex SQL queries to test backend services
    • Generating and communicating project QA test status reports
    • Identifying defects and providing troubleshooting and tracking progress in Jira
    • Cooking and mentoring other team members as needed
    • Improving the quality of products with continuous regression and exploratory testing
    • Continually updating skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role
  • Requirements:
    • 5+ years experience in test automation
    • 2+ years hands-on with Playwright (TypeScript or JavaScript preferred)
    • Solid experience with web and mobile app testing
    • Strong background in e-commerce environments
    • TMAP or ISTQB certification (mandatory)
    • Perfect English - both written and spoken
    • Excellent communication skills - clear, concise, and to the point
