Personal Information Protection Act Compliance Project Manager

Job Description:

The company is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the implementation of the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) compliance framework across all business units.

As PIPA compliance project manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the compliance program in alignment with Bermuda equivalent data protection regulations.

Key responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive assessment of current data privacy policies, systems, and processes to identify gaps against PIPA requirements, working with stakeholders to define and implement appropriate controls for data collection, storage, access, and sharing, and managing vendor relationships and third-party assessments related to data processing and privacy.

You will also design and facilitate training and awareness programs for staff on data protection principles and responsibilities under PIPA, prepare project plans, status reports, risk registers, and ensure timely delivery within scope.
