Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT auditor with a strong background in cybersecurity to perform IT and cybersecurity audits, assess risks, evaluate controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

The role involves conducting IT and cybersecurity audits covering infrastructure, applications, networks, and security controls. Additionally, it includes assessing IT general controls, security configurations, and vulnerability management processes.

  • Conducting comprehensive IT and cybersecurity audits of infrastructure, applications, networks, and security controls.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of IT general controls, security configurations, and vulnerability management processes.
  • Reviewing cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, PCI DSS, etc.).
  • Performing risk assessments and identifying control gaps across IT and security processes.
  • Preparing detailed audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and remediation actions.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and at least three years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity audit, or information security assessments.

Key qualifications include knowledge of ITGC, application controls, and cybersecurity frameworks, as well as familiarity with tools and techniques for vulnerability assessment and penetration testing. The ideal candidate will also possess strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills.

Additionally, professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 LA, or CEH are highly desirable.
