Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design Electrical Systems: Develop electrical schematics, power/control panels, and instrumentation layouts.
  • Specify Equipment: Select and specify sensors, actuators, control valves, temperature/pressure transmitters, and flow meters.
  • Control System Development: Create PLC/SCADA logic for control systems (preferably Siemens, Delta, Allen-Bradley, etc.).
  • Installation and Commissioning: Oversee wiring, panel testing, loop checking, and site commissioning.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate with mechanical, design, and purchase teams for integrated system delivery.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or instrumentation issues at the shop or site.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation: BOMs, wiring diagrams, FAT/SAT protocols, O&M manuals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in industrial projects (furnaces, boilers, process plants preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • PLC programming (Siemens, Delta, etc.).
  • HMI/SCADA development.
  • VFDs, MCCs, LT Panels, relay logics.
  • Sensors and instrumentation for temperature, pressure, flow, etc.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPlan (preferred), and Excel.
  • Understanding of industrial safety practices and CE/IEC/IS compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, with hands-on experience in designing and developing electrical systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to ensure seamless integration with cross-functional teams.
