DC Electrical System Specialist

We seek a seasoned DC Electrical System Specialist to oversee the end-to-end execution of electrical systems for utility-scale solar PV plants. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with industry standards, manage project timelines, and lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC processes, including ITPs and method statements, to guarantee high-quality electrical infrastructure.
  • Validate string designs, layouts, and cable sizing against engineering drawings and site conditions to optimize system performance.
  • Oversee installation, megger testing, IV curve tracing, and pre-commissioning checks for DC systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with AC, civil, and commissioning teams to synchronize project delivery and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in DC electrical execution, preferably in solar PV/EPC projects.
  • Proven track record of managing DC scope for large-scale solar PV plants (50 MW and above).
  • Familiarity with international best practices, OEM guidelines, and industry standards (IEC/IS/IEEE/NEC).
  • Effective leadership, contractor management, and reporting capabilities.
