Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves conceptualizing and designing high-performance bearings, optimizing them for performance and durability, and working with suppliers on material selection and heat treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop bearing components and assemblies for a wide range of applications.
  • Prepare 2D/3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform design calculations (load, speed, lubrication etc.) to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production efficiency and quality.
  • Document design processes, maintain technical files, and contribute to design standards.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities for product performance and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in design of precision mechanical components.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of tribology, metallurgy, and material science.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as forging, heat treatment, and machining.
