We are seeking a skilled Media Coordinator to play a pivotal role in driving high-impact media engagement and strategic communications.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing documentation of media coverage, correspondence, press materials and communication assets. They will also serve as the second point of contact for journalists and media agencies, schedule interviews, press briefings, and public appearances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media & External Coordination: Serve as the secondary liaison for journalists and media agencies, scheduling interviews, press briefings, and public appearances.
- Content & Document Preparation: Manage the compilation of media coverage, correspondence, press materials, and communication assets.
- Event & Meeting Hosting: Act as host for visiting media representatives and partners, ensuring a professional and engaging experience. Coordinate logistics for on-site and virtual events.
- Travel Management: Coordinate domestic and international travel itineraries, including visa requirements, and accommodations.
- Calendar & Scheduling Management: Maintain and coordinate the executive's calendar, ensuring optimal time allocation for strategic priorities, meetings, and travel.
- Information Management: Track action items, follow up on pending deliverables, and ensure timely closure of tasks.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in a media coordinator or similar support role, preferably in a global or corporate communications environment.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in working with global cross-functional teams and ability to interact with senior executives, media, and diverse external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with scheduling tools.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
